Authentication

Every request needs a personal API key, created in your profile under Nations Enterprise. Send it in the x-api-key header.

Rate limits

Each key may make 10,000 requests per calendar month. Usage is shown live per key in your profile, and the counter resets automatically at the start of each month. Exceeding the quota returns HTTP 429.

Global live sports feed

The complete live feed — matches in progress, latest results and upcoming fixtures across every sport, refreshed every 5 minutes. Add &format=csv for a flat CSV export.

Country sports feed

Results, fixtures and league ladders for a supported country.

  • country — Country slug, e.g. australia, england, india, usa. The full list is returned when an unsupported value is sent.

head_to_head

Head-to-head analytics

All-time record, last 5 meetings, current form and the next fixture for any two teams in any sport. Generated on demand (allow 10-20 seconds) and cached for 6 hours.

  • team_a — First team name, e.g. Australia.
  • team_b — Second team name, e.g. England.

Live player statistics by sport

The top individual performers per sport — leading scorers, rankings, wickets, championship points — refreshed at least every 3 hours via live web search.

  • sport — One of soccer (default), cricket, tennis, f1, rugby, golf, nfl, olympics.

price_history

Historical price series — commodities & stocks

Closing-price history for any tracked commodity or its associated stock tickers. Pass a Yahoo-style symbol, or a commodity slug and we resolve the symbol for you.

  • symbol — Yahoo-style symbol, e.g. GC=F (gold), SI=F (silver), or a stock ticker like NEM.
  • commodity — Alternative to symbol — an atlas slug like gold, silver, natural-gas.
  • range — 1mo, 3mo, 6mo, 1y (default) or 5y.

commodity_atlas

Commodity atlas — regions, producers & stocks

For every tracked commodity: producing regions, ranked producer nations with approximate production shares, and the publicly-listed companies associated with it. Leave commodity off for the full atlas.

Sports hub feeds

Dedicated hub feeds — Olympic Games and medal tables, F1 drivers' standings, Grand Slam finals, ICC events, rugby results, golf majors and Super Bowl results. Hub feeds are generated when the in-app hub is visited and cached for 12 hours. Add &format=csv to any hub feed for a flat CSV export.

Error codes

400

Bad request — missing or invalid parameters, or an unsupported resource.

401

Unauthorized — missing or invalid API key.

403

Forbidden — the Enterprise subscription is inactive or cancelled.

429

Too many requests — the key's monthly quota (10,000) is exhausted. Resets at the start of next calendar month.

502

On-demand generation failed (head-to-head). Safe to retry.

503

Feed is warming up. Retry in a minute.

Webhooks

Don't poll — register a webhook URL in your profile and we push fresh data to you the moment it updates. Each endpoint gets its own signing secret (shown once).

  • sports.refresh — the full live sports feed, pushed after each 5-minute refresh.
  • weekly_stats.refresh — pushed each Sunday after the weekly nation stats refresh.
  • commodities.refresh — live prices for every tracked commodity, pushed after each 4-hourly price sweep.
  • player_stats.refresh — the current top performers for every sport (scorers, rankings, wickets), pushed after each 4-hourly sweep when fresh stats exist.
  • Threshold rules — when adding a commodities webhook you can attach alert conditions (e.g. daily change below -3 for GC=F); the endpoint then only receives a push when one of your rules matches.
  • test — a manual test delivery from your profile.

Every delivery includes x-nations-event and x-nations-signature — an HMAC-SHA256 hex digest of the raw request body, signed with your endpoint secret.
