Privacy Policy

Account information: when you register we collect your name, email address and mobile number. Your mobile number is required so that referral commissions can be verified and paid.

Referral information: referral codes you create and share, clicks on your referral links, and commission entries earned through the referral programme.

Usage and game data: your Nations game matches, scores and leaderboard entries, favourites and any preferences you set in the app.

Payment information: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — only the transaction result and entitlement (for example, your Pro or Live Data status) are retained.

Technical data: standard device and analytics data such as app version, locale and approximate region, used to keep the Service running and improve it.

We use the information above to:

• create and manage your account;
• record game scores and display leaderboards;
• track and pay referral commissions you earn;
• process purchases and activate Pro / Live Data entitlements;
• send welcome and service-related emails (such as a retention reminder);
• maintain, secure and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers that help operate the app: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (transactional emails), and cloud hosting/analytics providers acting on our behalf. We may disclose information where required by law.

When you share your referral code and another user registers or purchases using it, we record the referrer, the purchaser and the commission amount so that rewards can be calculated and paid. Payout status is managed by the administrator and marked as "accrued" until paid.

We keep your account and referral data for as long as your account is active and afterwards as needed to fulfil legal, accounting or payout obligations. Game and leaderboard data is retained for the lifetime of the Service.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

You may access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, or opt out of marketing emails, by contacting us at sales@thenationsatlas.com. Where required by Australian privacy law, we will respond within a reasonable period.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure handling of payments through Stripe. No method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
